This weekend, the first part of the 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival took place in Indio, California. More than 225,000 people gathered to hear performances by more than 140 artists including Radiohead, Bon Iver, Gotye, The Hives, and Florence and the Machine. A lifelike projection of the late rapper Tupac Shakur even took the stage last night during the closing act with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. The festival wraps up next weekend, April 20 through 22.
